PM2.5 – Microscopic Particles
Tiny particles that can travel deep into your lungs and even enter your bloodstream, increasing the risk of heart and lung disease over time.
VOCs – Invisible Chemicals
Released by furniture, paint, cleaning products, air fresheners, and countless everyday items. They can irritate your eyes, nose, and throat and contribute to poor indoor air quality.

Naturally builds up while you sleep or gather in enclosed spaces, leaving you feeling tired, less alert, and making it harder to concentrate.
Ground-Level Ozone
Can irritate your lungs, trigger asthma symptoms, and make breathing more difficult—especially for children, older adults, and people with respiratory conditions.

Can quietly enter your home, bringing harmful particles that may remain indoors long after the smoke outside has cleared.

The challenge isn't that these pollutants exist.
They've always existed.
The challenge is that most of us have no way of knowing when they're present, what caused them, or how they affect the people living in our homes.
That's why understanding your air begins with making the invisible visible.

Sometimes it was perfectly clean.
Sometimes it contained contaminants you couldn't see.
Sometimes it was exactly what your family needed.
Other times, it wasn't.

That's exactly how most of us live with the air inside our homes.
If it doesn't smell bad...

We assume everything is fine.
The truth is, air doesn't work that way.
Unlike water, air rarely gives us obvious clues. It doesn't suddenly change color. Most of the time, it doesn't even have a smell.
Yet it's constantly changing.

Cooking, cleaning, sleeping, opening a window, or simply spending time together all influence the air inside your home. Most of these changes happen without us ever noticing.
Air Is Personal
One of the biggest misconceptions about indoor air quality is that there's a single definition of "healthy air."
There isn't.
The healthiest air isn't the same for everyone. If you have asthma, ozone or fine particles may be your biggest concern.
If you have allergies, pollen and airborne particles may affect you the most.
If you work from home, elevated carbon dioxide may leave you feeling tired or make it harder to concentrate.
Parents naturally want the cleanest possible air for children whose lungs are still developing.
Older adults and people with heart or lung disease may be more sensitive to smoke and airborne pollutants.
Even two people living in the same home can experience the exact same air differently.
That's why understanding your air matters.

There isn't one definition of healthy air.

My Discovery
When I started building Pyron, I wasn't trying to create another air purifier.
I wanted to answer one simple question.
What's really happening to the air inside my home?
I expected to confirm my home's air was pretty good.
Instead, I discovered something completely different.
My kitchen, bedroom, office, and living room all had different air.
Cooking changed it.
Sleeping changed it.
Opening a window changed it.
Even the weather outside changed it.
The air wasn't just different from room to room.
It changed hour by hour.
Once I could measure those changes, I couldn't ignore them.
That realization changed the way I think about homes.
I stopped thinking about air as something that was simply "good" or "bad."
I started thinking about it as a living environment—one that changes every minute.
I expected the sensors to confirm what I already believed. Instead, they challenged almost everything I assumed about the air inside my own home.

Nothing looked different. Nothing smelled different. Yet overnight, carbon dioxide quietly accumulated while I slept. Without measuring it, I never would have known.
Understanding Beats Guessing
People often ask me,
"Is my air good?"
I think there's a better question.
"Why did my air change?"
When you understand the reason behind the change, you can make better decisions.
Maybe today is a good day to open the windows.
Maybe wildfire smoke or pollen means you should keep them closed.
Maybe your bedroom needs more fresh air overnight.
Maybe your kitchen needs better filtration after dinner.
Understanding your air isn't about chasing perfect numbers.
It's about recognizing patterns and making informed decisions.
Knowledge leads to confidence.
Confidence leads to healthier choices.
